• What colleges and universities do TVT graduates enter?

• What happens if my child does not know Hebrew?

  Hebrew is not a prerequisite to attend TVT. At each grade level we have systems in place to meet the needs of each student's level of Hebrew. 在低年级, students are arranged within the class according to the appropriate level (beginning, 中级及高级). 另外, we have Hebrew Resource Specialists and a pull-out program for those that need even more personalized instruction. 在中学和高中, each student takes the level of Hebrew that is right for them- from beginning to advanced.

  Twenty-five percent of the day is spent on Hebrew and 犹太研究, and seventy-five percent of the day is spent on general studies.

• What extracurricular activities do you offer?

Innovation After School offerings are available Monday-Thursday. TVT also offers after-school care until 6pm (Mon- Thursday) and 5:30pm (Friday).   In addition to our programs on campus, parents can utilize the after-care programs at the Merage犹太社区中心 毗邻我们的校园. Students are signed out and escorted by the JCC counselors for a seamless transition. 

• What sports programs do you offer for students (JV and Varsity)?

  中间 School girls (grades 6-8) can compete in Volleyball, Basketball and Soccer. 中间 School boys can compete in Flag Football, Basketball and Soccer. They can also participate in a co-ed Cross-Country club. Varsity girls (grades 9-12) can compete in Volleyball, Basketball, Tennis, and Soccer. Varsity boys can compete in Basketball, Volleyball, Tennis, Baseball, Soccer, and Golf. 大学越野赛是男女同校. Swimming and equestrian sports are an option if someone wants to participate as an individual.

• When applying, how much weight is given to test scores?

  We look at test scores as a piece of the puzzle. 学生访问, 报告卡, teacher questionnaires and faculty and administration feedback are of equal importance.

• Do siblings get special consideration?

  Qualified siblings get first priority for available spots but must fulfill the same admissions criteria as non-sibling applicants.

• Do you offer tuition assistance and how do we apply?

• Will an applicant needing tuition assistance receive the same consideration as a family not applying for financial aid?

  Decision letters are typically mailed in March.
